Pasco World AIDS Day Committee             

WE ARE . . .

The Pasco World AIDS Day Committee is a 501(c)(3) non-profit group of volunteers in Pasco County, FL, consisting of AIDS case management and other healthcare professionals working along-side interested community members. We created this organization when we noticed both a lack of resources available to individuals with HIV/AIDS and a lack of awareness and education within the community.

We believe that by making the community more aware that this devastating disease is still out there and being spread, we might help control the number of infections.Simply put - we feel that education is the key.

OUR MISSION IS TO . . .

• Promote and provide ways to help community members know fact and dispel fiction about AIDS/HIV (how the disease is spread, etc.)
• Promote collaboration between citizens and organizations within the community
• Promote available means for HIV/AIDS prevention, intervention, testing, and counseling
• Promote and provide a caring and accepting atmosphere for all members of the community, of all ages
